Workforce and Education Committee
 The Oakland County Business Roundtable's Workforce and Education Committee strives to increase availability and awareness of educational opportunities and job skill development programs.
The Workforce and Education Committee is diligently advancing their six recommendations, first made in 2001. 1. Market Oakland County's workforce development and education programs. 2. Develop partnerships with business. 3. Retain, train, retrain and recruit workers for Oakland County's high demand jobs. 4. Bridge the skills gap. 5. Train Oakland County's workforce for jobs in Emerging Business Sectors. 6. Develop a "One Stop Educational Resourse Shop" in Oakland County.
