Oakland County Health Division Office of Substance Abuse Services(OSAS)


Oakland County Health Division's Office of Substance Abuse Services (OSAS) provides the following general services:
  • Information and technical assistance about substance abuse prevention and treatment services.
  • Financial help for uninsured, low-income citizens for substance abuse treatment.
  • Accepts public comment regarding licensed substance abuse programs.
  • Community resources  for substance abuse issues.  (file size 2.1mb)
  • Investigates complaints from recipients of substance abuse services.

  • Monitors programs funded through OSAS for provision of quality services.

P.A.C.E. (Prior Authorization and Central Evaluation)

  • Screening and assessment for alcohol and drug treatment for Oakland County residents with Medicaid or no insurance.
HIV Early Intervention Services
  • Training, education, HIV counseling and testing.
