Oakland County CLEMIS is implementing a new public safety radio communication system that will provide seamless radio communications for all public safety agencies within the County.

Using M/A COM OpenSky technology, the system unites incompatible communication protocols used by agencies in and around the County.

Police, fire, EMS and other first responders using this system will experience a level of interoperability unavailable with existing systems.

This translates to faster, safer, more reliable public safety communication for emergency and disaster response situations, as well as for large regional entertainment events such as the Woodward Dream Cruise.

Message from the CLEMIS Radio Oversight Committee Chairs - Read the message from Police Chief Olko and Fire Chief Bill Nelson. Visit the FAQ section for more information about the radio system.

The system is managed by the
Radio Oversight Committee , which operates under the  CLEMIS Advisory Committee.
