Oakland County Parks and Recreation manages the services and operations of 11 parks with a total of approximately 7,500 acres. The parks offer a wide variety of year-round recreation activities, including camping, fishing, golfing, hiking and skating, nature centers, hunting, geocaching, and a range of winter activities.

The Office of Arts, Culture and Film supports nonprofit arts organizations through mini-grants funded by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.

Markets

The Oakland County Market offers fresh farm, garden, orchard and greenhouse produce to the general public at its facility in Waterford. If you would like to conduct business with the Oakland County Farmer's Market please view the rules and regulations.
