Timmy Atkins
Captain, Emergency Preparedness Training and Communications Division

Captain Atkins is currently commander of the Emergency Preparedness, Training, Communications and Special Response Team Division.

Captain Atkins started with the Oakland County Sheriffs Office in 1987 as a civilian corrections officer. During his career he has worked in all areas of the department which include; Corrective Services, Technical Services, Patrol Services, and Satellite Services.  He has been a member of the Special Response Team since 1991, and has been the commander the team since 2000.

 Basic and Advance Tactical Officers
 Tactical Operations Command
