Henry C. Wallace
Captain, Corrections Satellite Division

Captain Henry C. Wallace is currently Commander of the Oakland County Sheriff's Corrections Satellite Division.          
Prior to hiring into the Sheriff's Office, Captain Wallace received an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Army. He was then hired by the State of Michigan and worked in its Correction facilities for more than 16 years.

Captain Wallace was hired as a Deputy II in May 1972 as one of the first nine black officers hired by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office. He was the first black Sergeant, the first black Lieutenant and the first black Captain in the Sheriff's Office.
