Full Stream Ahead is a learning adventure program that combines kayaking with a nature talk. The topic for June 20 is Paddling with Nature's Lumberjacks. Beavers are common in southeast Michigan and paddling through their habitat, participants can see their lodges, dams and preferred tree species. This paddle will also teach basic tree identification along the shores of Crooked Lake. Cost is $10/person. This program is recommended for ages 18 and older and is limited to eight participants per session. Park entry fee is not included.
