Elementary Science Workshop for Partners
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 29, to join fellow elementary education leaders at “Advancing Science in Elementary Classrooms: A Call to Action.”
In support of K-5 science teaching and learning, a leadership team of representatives from the Michigan Science Education Leadership Association (MSELA) and Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association (MEMSPA), in partnership with the CREATE for STEM Institute at Michigan State University (MSU), will bring together state and national science leaders to the campus of MSU on May 29, 2024 to discuss a shared research-based vision for teaching and learning of science in the elementary grades. During this free event, attendees will engage in a full day of discussion and collaboration focused on creating a research-based, sustained pathway to science education for our youngest learners.
The event is open to principals, teacher leaders, ISD curriculum directors, district curriculum directors, instructional coaches, local district leaders and other folks engaged with elementary education.
