The Baja SAE Michigan event will be hosted by the Society of Automotive Engineers Sept. 12-15. During this event, college students are tasked with building a functional vehicle for off road use. Each team works together to design and build a prototype of an all-weather, rugged, single-seat, off-road recreational vehicle intended for sale to the recreational weekend off-road enthusiast.
Universities then compete among each other to have their design accepted for manufacture by a fictitious firm.
Spectators are welcome to observe the competitions from within the designated spectator areas. For more information, visit the Baja SAE Michigan website.
Please note: Because of this event, there will be no public riding at Holly Oaks this weekend.
