In 2010, Stephanie and her Elite 40 classmate, sister Nancy Tomovska founded Stance, LLC, a brand and product development company based in Rochester Hills. Their first product, Unmarx – a hand-sized pad that has a mesh scrubber that gets residue off your clothes – a is wildly popular and was included in swag bags for the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

Over the past year, the Tomovska sisters have created relationships with three major retailers – Walgreens, Whole Foods Market and Ace Hardware – as well as area boutiques, yoga studios, and pet stores. Their products are now found in over 80 stores throughout Michigan.

In 2013, Unmarx partnered with the Walgreens team at the annual Relay for Life Greater Rochester and raised over $130,000 to help fight cancer. Additionally, Stance donates five percent of its annual proceeds from the sale of Unmarx to breast cancer organizations in the Detroit area.
