In the past six years, Dennis has helped many people and businesses throughout Southeastern Michigan protect the people and things most important to them. He also developed a college internship program within MassMutual Southeastern Michigan, which plans to hire up to 10 interns in 2014.

Dennis is an active volunteer for the March of Dimes. In 2013, he was chairman of the March for Babies, Oakland County Walk, raising $95,000 personally making the Oakland county walk the largest in the state by raising $490,000. Up over $100,000 more than the previous year. He's been an active member of the Board of Directors since 2011.

Dennis was named Young Professional of the Year in Financial Services by the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2010 and was a member of the XXXI Class of Leadership Detroit.
