Nathan Conway is CEO of Fortis Energy Services, Inc., an oil and gas service company headquartered in Bloomfield Hills. He turned the small oil and gas service company into an award winning, multi-million dollar corporation with operations in six states. Under his direction, Fortis has won multiple year listings as an Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Company and one of the top 100 energy companies in the U.S. Fortis won the World Oil Best Outreach Program in 2015 and the Oil & Gas Award as Oil Field Service Company of the year for the Rocky Mountain Region. Fortis was also a finalist as a Rising Star Company in the Platts Global Awards 2014.

Conway developed a company-wide hiring program in conjunction with the Department of Defense called Fortis4Vets, to hire veterans. He is currently developing a veteran mentoring program in his company to help veterans transition into the workplace. He is an active philanthropist and serves on a number of national and international charity boards, including Independent Producers of America, Michigan Oil and Gas Association and the North Dakota Petroleum Council. His leadership abilities have earned him many awards, including being recognized by DBusiness "30 in their 30's," Business Watch Magazine "40 Under 40," Crain's Detroit Business "40 Under 40" and the "Outstanding Achievement Award" by Minot University. He was keynote speaker at the 2015 Commencement Ceremony at Minot University in Minot, North Dakota. He earned his master's degree in business from the University of Michigan in 2010.
