Become Oakland’s NEXT: Intern!  These opportunities provide young adults ages 16-24 with a great way to gain valuable work experience and knowledge about various career paths, jobs and an understanding of a company’s culture and day-to-day operations. 

They typically last between four weeks and six months, based on a person’s previous work experience and the needs of local employers.
