JadeJade Phillips is excited to be serving her community as the Oakland80 Program Support Specialist. Oakland County has been home to her family for more than three generations, and she is eager to use her skills in data management and office administration to support the Oakland80 team.

Jade received her bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University, where she grew her passion for community wellness and sustainable agriculture. She has previously served as the Youth Program Intern at American Indian Health and Family Services, volunteered at a variety of urban farms, and served in West Michigan with Kids’ Food Basket and the Heartside Gleaning Initiative.

As a first-generation graduate, Jade understands the stress of navigating career changes and educational challenges. She knows the Oakland80 initiative is creating meaningful change for residents of our community. Jade is thrilled to work alongside the Oakland80 Navigators and assist in connecting community members with empowering resources that help them break through barriers and achieve their education and career goals.

Jade will be based in Waterford. .
