Oakland80 is an Oakland County initiative designed to assist residents in securing a degree or credential beyond high school. Its goal is for 80% of Oakland County working age adult to have a post-secondary degree or credential by the year 2030.
Oakland80 aims to create more economic stability and career opportunities for Oakland County Residents through networks of connections and resources. It also helps Oakland County employers by building a more skilled and talented workforce.
Oakland80 is managed jointly by the County Executive’s office and workforce development division under the economic development department and is made possible by innovative leaders from education, business, nonprofit and labor organizations.
