All the fun begins on Friday evening, so don't miss a minute of the excitement. Here's the full schedule:

• Friday - 5pm - 9pm
• Saturday - 10am - 9pm

The fireworks display will begin at 8:00pm on both Friday and Saturday nights. Let's meet at the main festival stage around 7:20 for a short musical concert before the fireworks. The best viewing is from the festival grounds, but we've heard reports that the display is visible all over Rochester.

Yes, you can bring your dog to Fire & Ice. However, there are some rules you need to follow:

• Dogs must be on a leash and kept under control at all times.
• Dogs are not allowed near the dog sledding area. This is for the safety of your pet, the sled dogs, and the riders of the sleds.
• No pets allowed in the TasteFest tent since food. This is regulated by the Oakland County Health Department as food is being served inside the tent.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors the Fire & Ice Festival is free. Yes really. It's all free. If you love this part of the festival, be sure to give our sponsors some love and thank them for their support.

The festival itself is free but food is available for purchase.

The best place to park is at Buffalo Wild Wings, 1234 Walton Blvd, Rochester. Here you can park for free in the designated Fire & Ice section and catch the free shuttle to the festival grounds.

If you prefer to park in downtown Rochester, you'll find on-street metered parking throughout the city or two parking garages at:

• East Parking Platform, 415 East St
• West Parking Platform, 406-414 Walnut Blvd

Bring your own ice skates. The ice skating rink will be open during the entire festival with the exception of the times when special shows are happening on the ice.

We provide everything you need for all the activities (except you'll need to bring your own ice skates). The cross country skis and snowshoes are all provided for you. And of course, everything is free thanks to the generous support of our sponsors. There will be food available for sale, so bring your appetite.

Don't worry about getting hungry or thirsty, we've got you covered! Food trucks and vendors will be bringing food & beverages available for purchase. Look for the full list of food trucks and food vendors that will be set up on the festival grounds.

• TasteFest Food & Beer Tent -- Everything from hearty dinners to delectable desserts can be found inside the tent from a variety of food vendors. And don't miss out on the beer and hot cocoa.
• Food Trucks -- Be sure to check out the food truck rally and food vendors outside the tent.
• Restaurants in Rochester -- All your favorite restaurants will be open throughout the festival, many with special deals for the weekend. Why not try out someplace new while you're here?

Don't miss the short musical concert before the fireworks display on Friday and Saturday evenings (starting at 7:20pm) on the stage. There will also be many restaurants, pubs, and bars around Rochester who are hosting local bands for the weekend festivities.
