Mission

To ensure that every person who is living with HIV in Oakland County gets the medical, social, and emotional support they need to live a healthy life.

What is Link-Up Oakland?

Link-Up Oakland is a free, confidential service to help people who are living with HIV access medical care and support services. Regular medical visits can:

  • Keep you healthy
  • Make it less likely you will pass HIV to your partners
  • Lead to improved viral suppression
  • Decrease the odds of drug resistance

What services do we offer?

Medical: Help schedule medical appointments, connect you with a doctor, help with transportation, and ensure medical costs are not a barrier.

Non-Medical: Referrals to programs that help with:

  • Mental Health
  • Housing
  • Transportation
  • Medical Case Management
  • Early Intervention Services (EIS)
  • Financial Issues
  • Copay Assistance
  • Insurance Enrollment
  • Job Training
  • Food Assistance
  • Nutritional Therapy and Counseling
  • Legal Aid
  • Adherence Counseling
  • Addiction Treatment

Qualifications

To qualify, you must:

  1. Be HIV positive
  2. Lack medical care and/or in need of support services
