Survivor Moms’ Companion Program
About
- Survivor Moms' Companion (SMC) Program is a nurse home visiting program for moms. Moms that have experienced trauma will learn life skills to improve coping and live as a survivor.
- Trauma and maltreatment have a significant impact on the pregnancy experience and early parenting. You're not alone - 1 in 5 moms have experienced trauma.
Eligibility
Pregnant or new parent that has experienced a trauma during their lifetime. Must be an Oakland County resident.
How to Apply for the Program
Call Nurse on Call at 1-800-848-5533 or complete the SMC referral form.
Fees
No cost.
