Dental Program
About
The Dental Program provides basic dental services for income-eligible Oakland County residents with no dental insurance.
Eligibility
Oakland County resident or veteran with no dental insurance, verifiable income.
How to Apply
A dental application with documentation must be submitted.
Appointments
All services are provided by a contracted dental office. Clients will receive a phone number to a contracted office after their application is approved.
Fees
$15 registration fee. There is a copayment for dentures, partial dentures, and repairs.
Kindergarten Oral Health Assessment
About
A new State law passed on January 1, 2024 requires that children starting Kindergarten or during the Kindergarten year get a dental assessment (screening). The Health Division can provide dental screenings if children do not have a dentist.
Eligibility
A child that lives or goes to school in Oakland County. Screenings are done 6 months prior to entering Kindergarten or during the Kindergarten year.
