Senior Advisory Council
The Oakland County Senior Advisory Council is a group of people from across the county who have been appointed to help inform the County Executive about issues of importance to older adults.
The members are appointed from each of the 19 County Commissioner districts as well as two at-large
members. They are committed to setting and achieving goals and strategies that will help older adults stay in their homes and find the programs and recreation resources that residents need to stay active and engaged in their communities.
Through connections with senior centers and older adult organizations across the county, the Senior Advisory Council acts as another connection between the growing population of older adults and the elected officials of Oakland County.
