Effective March 1, 2016

The Court is required to collect an "electronic filing system fee" in addition to the filing fees for starting a civil action as listed below. As a result, the new civil filing fees are as follows:

Small Claims Filing Fee: MCL 600.8420
Civil Filing Fee (Includes Judgment Fee) MCL 600.8420
Garnishment, Execution or Attachment, or Judgment Debtor Discovery Subpoena Filing Fee MCL 600.5757
Landlord/Tenant Filing Fee (Includes Judgment Fee) MCL 600.5756
