Judge Polizzi was appointed to the bench of the 52-3 District Court in May of 2024. She previously litigated domestic, business, real estate, juvenile, and criminal matters as an attorney. Judge Polizzi was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Michigan Rising Star from 2018 through 2024. She was a member of the State Bar of Michigan Representative Assembly from 2019-2024, and currently serves on the Bar's Character and Fitness Committee.  She is a member of the Michigan Association of Treatment Court Professionals and the Rochester Bar Association.

Judge Polizzi is a resident of Rochester Hills. She is bilingual and has represented many Spanish speaking clients. Judge Polizzi received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Oakland University in Rochester Hills and her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School at their Auburn Hills campus.
