The Oakland County Facilities Management (FM) Department is responsible for the provision of utility services to all county buildings. FM has published its Energy Management Procedures to encourage energy conservation.

The Facilities Management Interactive Utility Map is intended to show both utility usage by building and overall utility usage/costs for all of our owned facilities. The campus is divided into three sections, each represented by a different color. The three sections are: East Campus, West Campus and Off Campus. To view a report, click a building to see data and icons representing the five utilities reported for each building: Electricity, Water, Sewer, Gas and Steam. (Oakland County has its own steam plant located on campus that generates and provides steam to most of the buildings on East Campus). Click an icon that represents the utility and a report will open in another window. You can also search by Building Function or Number (ex. Public Works or 95) in the Search Field located in the upper right-hand corner.

To view a Campus-Wide Report, click on the green button to display a Legend and Details Tab. The Legend Tab shows the symbols that represent the three sections of the Oakland County campus. The Details Tab will show campus-wide energy usage per utility, as well as campus-wide recycling.

All reports are updated and posted on the fifth day of each month.
