2025 Plan Update Highlights
Medical
- A hearing aid benefit has been added to all medical plans. Please see the Benefits Guide for coverage amounts on each plan.
- Maven (family building and women’s health solution) and Teladoc Health (chronic condition management) is now available on all medical plans.
- Durable medical equipment, prosthetics/orthotics, and diabetic supplies processing for PPO1 will be corrected. Processing will follow the original plan design of 90% coverage after deductible.
Health Savings Account
- 50% of the County contribution will be front-loaded on the first paycheck of 2025. The remainder of the County contribution will be prorated for the remainder of the year.
- Funds in excess of $1,000 can be invested (previously $2,000).
- Reminder: Health Savings Accounts can only be paired with the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP/PPO)
Prescription
- Copays will be updated to:
- $10 for most generic medications
- $30 for preferred brands and some generic medications
- $50 for non-preferred products
Dental
- Maximum benefit no longer includes diagnostic and preventative services.
Vision
- Our new vision provider is Heritage Vision Plans.

Dependents
- Dependents turning 26 will remain on benefit coverage through the end of the month in the month that they turn 26.
Voluntary Benefits
- New voluntary (optional) benefits have been added to meet the diverse needs and experiences of our workforce.
2025 benefit offerings are subject to contract approval and may differ per bargaining unit.
