Employees and retirees covered under the Navitus pharmacy plan are now able to purchase over-the-counter (OTC) at-home COVID-19 tests, at little or no cost. Beginning January 15, 2022, the Navitus pharmacy plan will cover FDA-authorized OTC at-home COVID-19 diagnostic tests purchased on or after January 15, 2022, without a doctor's prescription. The OTC at-home COVID-19 test benefit includes up to 8 tests per member every 30 days.

It is highly recommended for members to get an OTC COVID-19 test kit at the pharmacy counter to ensure the kits are processed properly and that members have no out-of-pocket costs at the point of sale. If kits are purchased, Navitus will reimburse at a rate of up to $12 per individual test (or the cost of the test, if less than $12).

Residential households in the U.S. can order one set of 4 free at home test from USPS.
