Program Details

The Health Division and the HR Benefits Division have partnered on a program to offer County employees and retirees FREE immunizations.  Any employee, retiree, spouse or child currently covered on one of the County’s medical plans are eligible for this program.

This program is a convenient no cost option for obtaining immunizations required for your school age children getting ready for the upcoming school year.  In addition to the convenience of obtaining your shots here on-site, you will not incur the cost of an office visit co-pay, thus saving you time and money!  It’s also a great way for employees to catch up on booster shots or to receive immunizations that are newly available.  If it’s been a while since you’ve looked at the types of preventative immunizations available for adults, you may be surprised to find shots for Chicken Pox, Mumps, HPV, Herpes Zoster (Shingles), Pneumonia, etc.

All vaccines for children, adolescents and adults that are recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are covered.

Vaccines are available at no cost to the following:

with provided county medical insurance
• Full-time employees, their spouses and dependents
• County retirees, their spouses and dependents

with county identification
• Part-time employees or full-time employees without Oakland County medical insurance coverage
