This map shows the best-available information about the water service lines (pipes) in the water systems operated by the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s (WRC) office. The map is designed to help WRC water customers in Oakland County find out the known or likely materials of their water service lines.

This map is based on historical records and data collected during service line inspections and/or replacements. The WRC completed a comprehensive review of service lines and data following the guidance provided by Michigan’s Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy for Complete Distribution System Materials Inventory. This data does not reflect real-time information but is updated periodically on a monthly basis. The WRC does not guarantee the accuracy of the information contained in this map. This map is intended for the sole purpose of providing water customers with the best available data regarding their service lines.
