1) What vehicles are allowed at the park?

Full size 4x4s, ATV/Quads, Side by Sides and Dirt Bikes

2) When is the park open?

Gates will open one hour before the park opens. Hours change seasonally, view riding calendar.

3) Do I need a flag on my vehicle?

• All vehicles are required to have a dune-style flag
• Vehicles requiring seat belts must have a warning flag mounted and extending over the front-most portion of the vehicle
• Vehicles not requiring seat belts shall mount the warning flag on the rear of the vehicle
• The warning flag shall be mounted on a staff that is securely bolted, welded or secured to the vehicle
• The warning flag shall maintain a minimum 10-foot height at stand still and 8-foot in motion
• The warning flag shall be mounted on the top-most end of the staff
• The flag shall be rectangular, international orange in color, solid material, with a minimum length on the supporting side of five inches, and a minimum length on the base side of 10 inches
• AMO/386 Fab is on site Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

4) Do I need a spark arrestor?

Motorcycles and ATVs will be subject to an inspection for a U.S. Forest Service approved spark arrestor. Refunds will not be given for those violators.

5) Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets for each day can be purchased online up to five days in advance. We will post on our Facebook page if capacity is reached for the day.

To ensure a fun and safe experience, ticket sales are capped at 300 per day. Online ticket sales will stop two hours before the park closes. In-person sales will stop one hour before the park closes.

A ticket is needed for EACH vehicle that will be used in the park (not vehicles that will be left in the parking lot). Online and on-site tickets are $30 per vehicle (not per person).

6) What permit/stickers do I need to ride?

DNR ORV and ORV Trail stickers are required. You can purchase them at the park or at dozens of locations in/around Oakland County. Visit the DNR's website for a map of locations near you. The total for both stickers is $36.25.

1. Vehicles should not be louder than 94 dBa when measured 20 inches from the exhaust pipe at approximately half the vehicle's rated RPMs. All vehicles are required to have a muffler and spark arrester containing baffles meeting the established United States Forest Service specifications. 2. Tickets will NOT be refunded if vehicles do not pass a sound check at the park. Please test your vehicle prior to purchasing your tickets. There are many sound meter apps that can be downloaded to your phone and several options for sound meters on Amazon for under $20.

3. Operators under the age of 16 are allowed to ride dirt bikes and quads in the park but MUST SHOW their DNR ORV Safety Training Certificate. Please bring the certificate to the park so staff can verify.

4. Quads should only have one rider/driver unless there is a manufacturer dedicated back seat.

5. Please follow posted speed limits. Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies may pull over and ticket those speeding on park roads.
