Archery Hunting

Archery hunting for white-tailed deer (with some limitations) is allowed in this park, hunting locations and rules are listed in the individual park archery maps. No parks allow firearm hunting.

  • Addison Oaks-East
  • Highland Oaks County Park
  • Independence Oaks-North
  • Orion Oaks County Park
  • Rose Oaks County Park

e-Bikes

Please note that ONLY Class 1 e-Bikes with pedal assist only with no throttle are allowed on our trails. High-speed e-Bikes that can travel at 20 mph or faster, along with Sur-rons, are not permitted. If you have any questions, please contact the park directly. We appreciate your help keeping our trails safe and fun for all pedestrians and riders.


About

Lyon Oaks preserves 800 acres of environmentally-sensitive wetlands within a 1,041-acre park. Located in Lyon Township, the park features a day-use area with picnic shelter and playground; volleyball, pickleball courts, horseshoes pits, and soccer and cricket fields; 6 miles of natural trails for biking, cross-country skiing and on-leash dog walking; and a 13-acre, fenced dog park for off-leash fun. The challenging Arthur Hills-designed 18-hole golf course includes a driving range and an elegant event center.
