Oakland County hosts public auctions each year at the main County complex in Pontiac, Michigan. Items sold at these auctions can include: confiscated and recovered stolen property and County used equipment & vehicles.
The Oakland County Market features a Farmers Market and Flea Market, operating May - December: 7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Tues/Thurs/Sat) and January - April: 7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Sat only).
The Oakland County Historical Commission interacts with the County's many local historical societies, historic preservation organizations and County departments in order to promote interest in Oakland County's rich heritage.

The 47th Judicial District Court is a limited jurisdiction court serving the cities of Farmington and Farmington Hills. The Court has jurisdiction over criminal misdemeanors, civil cases in which the amount in dispute is $25,000 or less, parking violations, traffic violations and other civil infractions, landlord-tenant disputes, and small claims matters. In addition, the Court has initial jurisdiction on criminal felony cases for the purpose of determining probable cause.
